Making Disciples
I love the spring season because of the beautiful transformation that takes place in nature. We go from the gloomy days of the winter to the fruitful season of growth in plants and trees. As the snow fades away, spring is a season of new beginnings. Discipleship is not just about our own spiritual growth. Discipleship is the seeds of love, truth, and grace multiplying in people's hearts. As we hear Christ’s call: Go and Make Disciples, we understand this call as a relational process to walk alongside people, share the gospel news, and invite them to follow Jesus.
Who is a disciple? According to Matthew 6:19, a disciple is someone who follows Jesus, is being transformed by Jesus, and is someone who is on Jesus’ mission. Making disciples is not about transferring content to another person. Instead, it is about doing life with others, sharing the good news of Christ's love, and showing them how to follow our Savior. At Epic Church, we believe that discipleship always happens in relational environments and that we serve the God of relationships.
Join us this Sabbath at Epic; we would love to welcome and walk alongside you in your discipleship journey.
